Davis Centre (DC) is a college math building Waterloo located in Canada.
University of Waterloo (200 University Ave. W.) Waterloo ON N2L 5P3 Canada
Avoid the cold in winter by taking the overpasses from the chemistry and biology buildings to the dino building to DC to E3. You can almost make it to the plaza for food, unscathed by outdoors!
During midterm/exam season if you're able to find a cubicle, make sure to only leave if utterly obligatory. Study booths are difficult to attain a hold of, in particularly during these times.
DC library is a great place to study if you can find a spot. Lunch at their cafeteria is quite expensive !
Have a while before your bus arrives and it's winter? Wait inside, you can see the buses come in from both sides. There are even stools on the 2nd floor overlooking ring rd :)
There are tables, chairs, and stools on the second floor that are usually empty, making it a decent place to study or make a phone call.
Forgot your charger? Front desk loans BlackBerry, Android and iPhone/iPad chargers for 3 hours at a time.
DC = Destined (to be) Crowded . Don't even try finding a seat here during day time during exam season. It's impossible. Rather, go nocturnal and come here at around midnight. Much emptier.
If you want to study during finals and get a good spot come before 10 AM or after 11 PM!
Borrow an ethernet cable from the front desk to make your torrents go much faster.
If you're looking for quiet dont sit on the main tables, it's group study !
The seats in DC suck! So squeaky and annoying. First World problems.
No microwave in the entire building, closest one is in the SLC.
Dislike the Chinese restaurant here! Feels way too fatty - go for the sushi instead, they seem to have the widest variety
Washroom finally upgraded to automatic sinks. No more moldy handles!
Be quiet and study .
Check DC Library out on Facebook
The bus stop light to let people know when the busses are is out of service. so sad... :(
DC = Downtown China. TOO MANY ASIANS!!!

Come here early or join the crowd doing laps around the study desks; good exercise. More study desks aré usually free downstairs but they suck. - Michael Lu
Their prices aren't quite as obnoxious as I came to expect from Food Services (but that really isn't saying much). - Chris Thomson
