Do not miss the Nazari palaces . The map you get for the visit is good, use it. And book tickets online ahead of your visit, the system for tickets is tricky.

The jewel of Spain! So much poetry in the Moorish architecture . The roman palace built after the reconquest are a butchery of the delicate moorish architecture . But good to see this stark contrasts.
Nice combination of Moorish fortress and Christian palace . Big enough to sport huge towers for defence, and at the same time gardens with fountains for relaxation.
Visiting here needs PRE-PLANNING! I visit the Alhambra around every 5 years and every time it's worth the visit! This is really something amazing and unique in the world. Love the gardens and the Nasrid palaces .
Tickets can be bought on the same day if you get there just before 8. The 2nd queue for ticket machines is much faster (only credit cards). Also there's coffee and snacks machines next to the toilets .
Make sure you get there early or u will not get access ticket to the Palace which is the best part if the tour , prices attached in the post enjoy it
A must see when visiting Granada. Even if you don't want spend any money, you can visit and see much of the grounds and buildings within the fortress!

Make sure to finish your trip with a walk to Generallifé - it's a circuit with the return that loops around. It also affords a beautiful view of the Alhambra.
Best thing to do now in pandemic times is to enter one hour / hour and half before closing time, it will be completely empty and no one will interfere in your photos.

2 days spent in lines in december, didn't get tickets. Everything is sold out by 9:30-10. Think of reserving in advance online. If you still want to try: come at 7-7:30: split between 2 lines .
Book on line . It’s slightly cheaper and you can choose when to visit. Pro-top:- In the Summer early morning booking preferable: it is cooler and less crowded .

General ticket costs 14€. For seniors (+65) and young EU citizens 9€. There is a few ticket combinations (only gardens and so on. Line is quit big (10-15 min), but u can collect tickets in internet...

Every part of the castle and the gardens is worth visiting but expect some waiting in line during busy moments.

Take your time to explore the Generalife Gardens , mayby more interesting then the Palace itself. Less crowded after 7pm.
