The staff was very friendly , we enjoy that the hotel was very close to stores and most of all the beach . We were very lucky to find this hotel . very clean . Thanks fr making our vacation unforgettable!

Stopped here on a motorcycle trip from Canada to the Oregon coast. The hotel let us check in early which was nice. Rooms are big and clean . Wifi good. Swimming pool on site was a nice addition.

I stayed 5 nights. The room was clean and comfortable . Breakfast and WiFi were great. The owners are friendly and very accommodating. Only a short walk to the beach . Very reasonably priced

This HoJo in South Lake Tahoe has a great location a few hundred feet away from access to the lake shore. The staff was very helpful and eager to please. It was a good night stay.

The hotel was conveniently located between the home my daughter was moving into and Heavenly Village . I had a spectacular view of the beach and lake form my room!

This little gem in South Lake Tahoe was a pleasant surprise. The manager was very friendly and even gave me a partial lake view room . The room itself was updated and fairly modern.

My family was impressed with the spacious room we had. The beds were comfortable . The staff was very friendly . The continental breakfast had several choices and was always being stocked.

We only stayed one night. Were in town for a wedding. Room was centrally located. Not too noisy . Bed was very comfortable . Nice to have a fridge & microwave & coffee pot available.

A nice clean room and we even had a view of Lake Tahoe from our room. Bed was comfortable and the room had a refrigerator so we could keep things cold.

the lady at the counter was very nice, she got us a room right away because she saw how beat we were, the room was clean , and it had new mattresses in the rooms, so it was actually pretty comfy .

Ski weekend for 3 women, we reserved and received a 2-queen room. We were a bit cold and couldn't get the heater to work right, so the staff brought extra blankets and space heater at our request.

This property has a great location with less than 5 mins driving distance to most of the shopping and eating places on lake Tahoe The property itself is pretty decent

I rented a room at Howard Johnson's in South Lake Tahoe to attend my daughter's wedding. The room was clean , staff was nice. Breakfast was the only thing that could have been better.

Staff were extremely helpful. breakfast is basic but sufficient. Wifi is free and quite fast. Stayed two nights with no issues. Restaurants are close and reasonably priced.

I stayed here in March 2015 and about a year earlier. The rooms are looking slightly better. Perfectly serviceable for a short stay.

Front desk personnel not very enthusiastic/friendly, tv old as heck, but the room was clean and comfortable , and came with fridge & microwave - great price and location!

Gal at the front desk is very helpful and cordial on the phone. We had a bunch of delays in arrival, called at least 3 times to let them know we'd be late. She said no problem.

Rooms are big with comfortable beds . Good location and not far from a beach . I wish it come with a bath instead of shower only.

this is the first hotel that we stayed in that actually had a shower that was handicap accessible . the shower was open and had a chair in it for the disabled person to just walk into the shower .

Stayed at Howard Johnson's for a quick trip to the snow, the room was cheap clean and maintained well . The bad news was that the neighboring guests were very noisy making it hard to sleep.

The owner and his wife are really nice! They made my boyfriend and I feel welcome. The room itself was pretty standard but for the price it wasn't bad.

Stayed overnight on the way to my final destination. Very reasonable off-season rate. Dated facility but, clean . Continental breakfast was minimal.
