Absolute best coffee roaster in Kyoto. These people know how to roast and brew with the best in the business. Get a single origin pour over or macchiato and hang. Toasted ???? in the mornings!
Real deal Japanese hipster coffee shop located nearby temple scene. Secretly has wifi and power (need to ask) and maybe 8 spots to sit.
Great coffee place with a cool design! It gets a bit busy and crowdy because of the popular tourist location. However, the service was quick and smooth. Do stop by on your way to Kiyomizu-dera!
This hype coffee shop is located in one of the most popular tourist destinations in Kyoto. The old town is the area's main attraction . The coffee shop recently opened outlets across Asia #CoffeeKyoto
Such a beautiful coffee shop . The coffee tastes great, but if you’re used to a decent caffeine kick, it’s worth asking for an extra shot in your americano ????
Had a cappuccino even though it's not on the menu . Made with their own espresso blend, had a rich texture and chocolatey flavor. Delicious.
Beautiful, trendy , minimalist design. Your options are limited to caffeine: lattes , macchiato , and chemex . No food, but no lines 8:30am in a Monday.
Very good choice for coffee lovers! Great interiors!
Espresso (and at this location, pour overs.) 3rd wave style. Incredibly delicious and consistent.
I love the thoughtfulness of everything. How to pick beans, roast them. Fantastic experience. The drip coffee is a must try!
Epic hipster cafe near Hoanji, they roast their own beans on site and the aroma emanates onto the street
Great tasting coffee with high but reasonable prices (average 400 yen per cup). The high quality of the coffee justifies the price
The best coffee with a smooth yet strong taste. Probably top list for all coffee shops I have visited around the world.
One of the best coffee shops in Kyoto, if not Japan. Beautifully designed. Do it, go.
One of the best cappuccinos I've ever had. You don't want to miss it. The line is worth it.
Fantastic experience - amongst the best coffee I've ever had and the place just looks so hipsterish!
In case you’re in a long queue, here’s the coffee menu
Great coffee , near to Kiyomizu-dera Shrine , at least 8-10 seats but usually crowded
A little bit of food and an excellent latte stop on your way to/from Kiyomizudera
Super.nice coffee ! Try latte or.hot americano on the cold day.and enjoy Kyoto!
Best coffee we had in kyoto. Beautiful clean design as well .
Fantastic coffee , trendy but nice and bright with a fun vibe. Best espresso macchiato I've ever had!
“Single origin espresso ” is meh (it was Ethiopia FWIW). Body is more or less ok but beans are over-burnt. ???? Severely over-hyped. Interior is nice though, if that’s what you there for.
Beautiful shop - the latte was good and the lemonade was interesting too!
Ordered latte with extra shot. The coffee is very rich and not too strong, if you are a coffee addict rmb to order extra shot.
The americano is great and the staff is super nice! Highly recommend it
Beautiful design but serves only coffee . If you are hungry, go another place and come for coffee after.
Beautiful cappuccino . Don't skip the sandwich for breakfast
the headquarter of arabica coffee , a must visit - best comb of western + eastern
Awesome Latte ! The best I've had in Kyoto.
Awesome coffee . They also have a shop in Bal department store and at Arashiyama . Delicious.
Great iced coffee . Only place I've seen in Kyoto which does chemex too.
Nice latte interpretation ( kyoto latte ). Cafe latte is also great.
Stick out the lines . Worth it.
Great coffee in kyoto . Tall blend latte is 500 yen.
The coffee is good, but the line is long and it is crowded . If you get lucky, stop in, but don’t go out of your way.
Excellent coffee ! No food, only amazing coffee in a great environment.
Highly recommended!! Was best coffee in Kyoto
How the coffee from ethiopian beans can be soooo bitter??? Omg... It is all about american-ish interior design not about taste.
Good coffee but the cafe is simply too crowded with non-coffee drinkers
Had the Guatemala cappuccino and it was absolutely worth queuing up for.
Bathroom is in the back, at the base of the stairs. Sort of hidden. Paper towels are behind the mirror, lift from bottom to open.
Great late. Arabic and organic coffee
One of the best in Kyoto, Arashiyama branch have better view :)
good coffee , good location, good atmosphere!
One of a kind. Super serious coffee .
Best coffe shop in Kyoto.
Come here for coffee , some seating room but no food
hipster coffee but quite cheap and good. water should be provided freely.
Beautifully designed shop with great coffee to match
