Beautiful landscaping and pond you can fish at. The walk to the memorial site is beautiful and there’s tons of benches and tables everywhere to study it’s great & my dog loves it
Oval Office photo is a must! Great photo, be sure to have them take it for you - turns out great! Also, the grumpy and cynical old woman working at the gift store is fun to troll!
During the Fourth of July, an orchestra accompanies a fireworks show . Shuttles transport people to and from the museum but you can also watch from the A&M basketball stadium .
The pond in the back is nice to visit on a sunny day. You can also do some fishing back there; catch and release only.
Very interesting to walk through the history of former president Bush senior. Staff is very friendly and informative from the moment you walk in.
This library is for Bush 41 (1989-1993). As of 2018, both 41 and Barbara are buried on site near the pond (their graves are open to the public even without buying a ticket).
George H. W. Bush was the first president to make an official pardoning of the Thanksgiving Day turkey , saving it from slaughter, a tradition that has carried on every year since 1989.

Great little catch and release fishing pond behind the Library . Only place to buy bait around here is Academy though. So come prepared.

Very cool! Leave yourself at least 2+ hours to walk through.

They close at 5pm, but start making people leave at 4:30 - best not to start after 4pm!
