Without a doubt the best bánh you will find. I had the cheese and onion as I'm a vegetarian and Oh. My. Word. Gooey, delicious, perfection. At only 15,000 VND too it's an absolute steal. Must try.
Great! There is always a queue, but it’s worth it. Pork Bahn mi with everything is 20k. So cheap and delicious. Lots of tables to sit and enjoy. The bread is crispy and soft inside, perfect lunch stop
I had the # 5 BBQ , my wife had the # 2 Garlic Bread . Mine was good enough, but hers was AMAZING. Way better than my BBQ ! Also had Cao Lau-- TERRIBLE. Stick to the Bahn Mi .
Insanely busy with several options to choose from. I walked right in to sit down. The picture below is the #5. Bread is moist inside and crusty on the outside filled with delicious pork and veggies .
Ask for extra peanut sauce on your veggie Banh mi and use the spicy sauce in the jar on the table ???? ????
Madam Khan’s is definitely better and has shorter waits, but this is pretty good if you love pate , as they go heavy on it in the mixed (3). If you don’t like pate , go for he bbq instead of chicken (8)
Tofu isn’t as good .. would suggest vegetarians go elsewhere, but the pork Bahn mis here are seriously good. I think it’s in the sauce (layers of fat spread onto the Bahn mi ????)
Banh mi , banh mi , banh mi , banh mi . All of them. Outstanding! Extraordinary! 30.000 dong for the more expensive ones, that is a bit more than a euro. Expect a line waiting but they are fast
Best Banh Mi in town . BBQ pork and pate is a must try! This place gets super busy though so try grab a table upstairs. Also try their corn milk - super good.
We liked the banh mi more than Madame because there's a lot of meat in this. You can eat inside, have a table, skip the line and get your order within minutes.
I'm vegetarian and there's even options for me! I think you can ask for it with egg but I got tofu . It's marinated in some sauce so it's not plain ol' tofu - a little spicy , and very delicious!
Egg or tofu Banh Mi available for vegetarian . Tofu Banh Mi not on menu but can be requested. Price is cheaper than most restaurants around the area. Queue can be long at times. Limited seating .
The owners r friendly and funny. They serve one of the best banh mi I've had in life. Thoug I'm not sure if it worth the title Best of the World or not but it definately worth the price.
Grilled meat Banh Mi is good & you can't go wrong with the original Banh Mi with ham & pate
Quite possibly the best banh mi you will ever have in your entire lifetime. 30k Dong for a banh mi with "everything" and a bottle of water. This sandwich might change your life.
Must be the best value for money sandwich I ever ate. Less than a dollar for a very satisfying sandwich , appropriate for any time of the day!
Believe the hype. It really is that good. It's certainly not cheap for banh my, and there's usually a long queue. But it's all worth it, it might be the best in Vietnam
This is more suited for international palettes; if you prefer one with robust Vietnamese herbs and done traditional style , Madam Khanh does it best :)
very tasty and very famous. to say it's the best Vietnam is probably stretching it a bit but for its certainly a good bet for most. And for less than 1 USD, how can you go wrong?
Very cheap and tasty food . If you have no dong , don’t worry they offered exchange . Many Banh Mi choices may be a little spicy so be careful.
Skip the lines by ordering from the table. Beef with cheese and egg (off menu for 35k) was legit the best BM i’ve had.
Super super good Banh Mi - the best we had! There are places to sit inside. Recommend getting there early as queue is constant!
Extraordinary options. Full flavored sandwiches - though I personally prefer the more multi-meated options, these are worthy of your stomach space.
The BEST banh mi I’ve ever had!!! The bread is super light, toasty- just so good! Had it for lunch AND dinner !
Bourdain made her famous. And they are good sandwiches ! But not the be all and end all of banh mi . I liked Madam Kahn's better in Hoi An.
i had the vegetarian banh with omlet and chili sauce and it was really good. a quick bite for a cheap price!
Be sure to get the pork one (last on the list) but add egg and chilli as per Anthony Bourdain !
Try the chicken bahn mi (#8) or the pork (#9) can't go wrong. Make sure to add some spice. Then take it to Tap across the street to eat it with a beer .
Pork and pate banhmi was delicious, similar but better than the BBQ pork banhmi
One of the best street food I've had in Vietnam . Incredible Vietnamese sandwiches , very fresh and tasty.
The Banh Mi is more flavourful as compared to anywhere else in Vietnam . It's the spice/sauce mix that does it although for some it might be a little on the spicier side.
Skip the lines . Go upstairs and order. If I hadn't tried Madam Khan 's banh mi queen then night earlier, I'd think this was the best. But it's not.
Can't go wrong here. Loads of locals come to grab 20k banh mi pate and others. Definitely try it out.
Lot of hype about this place. Didn't think it could, but it did live up to expectation. Definitely one of the best Bahn Mi we've had. Wash it down with a cold coconut ????
Eating the best sandwich of your life for sub $ makes you think of the value of all the other things you pay for in life. my fav. is #12
The barbeque baguette was excellent, however the meat in beef and phonat baguette was extremely tough and I was not able to eat it. The rest of the baguette was very good though.
Great banh mi sandwiches but this place is too crowded for its own good. I stood there waiting to order my sandwich forever and was repeatedly bypassed by person after person, and I speak Vietnamese.
Pro tip - skip the line and seat yourself at the tables downstairs or upstairs.
Banh mi the king of street food .. Between two of us we ate 3 sandwiches for under 5 usd and they were totally awesome
Definitely loveee the Mix bahn mi , different meat in each bite, and the avocado milk is cheap and yummy. def worth it.
Despite the hype, it is actually very good. Usually a little bit of a line , but it moves fast. My favorite was #3 (Mixte).
Try her most popular dish, the original bahn mi kep thit heo, four types of pork , fresh herbs , salad and the magic dressing coming in at just 20,000 VND.
Banh mi with pork and pate . Get extra chilis. Push your way to the front of the line .
Ridiculously cheap and tasty Banh Mi , the pork with pate is a must.
So good! #13 grilled pork banh mi is the bomb. No doubt for 20,000 dong
Say to her(him) ! "All !" You can taste the best Banh My with reasonable price.
The chicken and cheese is spectacular. The beef and eggs is merely great.
Amazing Banh mi ! We spent there 30 minutes to try another "custom made" sandwiches . Must eat when you visit Hoi An!
The best banh mi . Ask for extra sauce. The bread is perfect! Order at counter then find a seat.
Madam Khan is better without the wait!
Amazing banh mi and just 20k. I recommend coming around 6pm and then you miss the crazy lunch rush and can grab a table. - Winslow
the traditional Vietnamese banh mi is super delicious!!! I ate two in one go ???? the owner is super friendly and fun. not to mention, it's cheap!! - Lucy Chen
They have their own Roaster. Enjoy vietnamese coffee and after go upstairs to be satisfied with the view of the city. - Roma
Can find a lot of local food that Hoianese usually have for their breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack-time. Remember to bargain if u r a to - Phuc Yang Mei
Delicious smoothies. Order bannana strawberry. Also coconut ice cream coffe it is cold and delicious (creamy and sweet) - Stacy Tacher
Very scenic spot and interesting historically - worth buying the ticket to walk over! - Nic Comley
