The honey fried chicken , salmon , baked rigatoni , and brussel sprouts were really delicious. Andy, the manager and host (or server helping out) was extremely friendly and hospitable .
Try the waffle sandwich if it's your first time and you aren't carb/protein adverse. Chicken fried steak and an egg sandwiched between to waffles . Got to pour maple syrup over it of course.
I was pleasantly surprised by the decor and charm of The Hideout. It felt like a bit of L.A. tucked away in Lafayette. The waffle sandwich was a yummy indulgence. Same owners as Guava Martinez .
The salmon and honey fried chicken stood entrees stood out the most. The brussel sprouts were amazing! Wish it was a bigger serving!

Crab cake was ok. The skuna bay salmon dish was great, comes with confit of smoked ham hock, were like bits of smoked ham, organic black lentils and a nicely done wilted kale. - Frank Kim
