Folks usually come here for the Portuguese tarts , which are amazing, but regulars also come for the sandwiches (they mango chicken salad !) and pastries (marble mud cake and fruit cake !)

The next time you're in Coloane VIllage, stop for lunch at this gem of a restaurant . The sandwiches , salads and cooked meat pies are all delicious. And for dessert , try an egg tart and latte !

During winter, I would come here and buy a hot freshly made Portuguese Tart and have it outside the shops. Hot Portuguese tart with cool winter weather. It's awesome.

Unfortunately the recipe for the egg tarts was sold to KFC so pop into any branch in HK and you can get one! Never as good as the originals but better than travelling 3 hr round trip for!

Eileen Stow is a bit of a character and is making one of the best, if not the most famous Portuguese egg tarts in town . Judging by the queues, i think everybody agrees with me.
