Do a walk on the castle walls and enjoy serene views of the city and the mountains beyond. For best experience go on sunny days and soak in the sun. Walkable from bellinzona station.

Bellinzona is the site of three medieval castles named by UNESCO in 2001. Castelgrande is the oldest and largest of three castles .

You can pay per castle or pay for a bundle and then visit all castles in the area. Which I think it’s recomendable since each of them are very different :)

Beautiful and worth visiting but unfortunately filled with teenage boys smoking and playing loud music on the weekends.
