Beautiful lighthouse and a great tour , pay the money to go through and climb to the top. Very friendly people, well presented and a video out back after.
Awesome lighthouse ! Was told while visiting McGulpin Point Lighthouse that this one was built to address an area that it could not reach with it's light through the straits.
Tour the lighthouse , and then swim in Lake Huron. If you do swim , wear something on your feet, the rocks on the shoreline are jagged.
It is breathless place to here the water and enjoy the view of the bridge
The historic lighthouse was great photo op , and it was free to walk around the park .
Beautiful spot we enjoyed it very much. Fantastic view of the bridge .
If visiting early June, keep your mouth shut or risk swallowing a bunch of midges. They are thick in this area!!
6.50 per person. Climb the lighthouse . Take a hot bath later for bad knee. Cool.
Had a picnic by the beach , nice park w restrooms .
Wonderful view of Mackinaw Bridge and Mackinaw Island from this old Lighthouse .

The pavillion is open 9am-9pm! Lots of history & information inside. - Rebekah Cathey
Ignore all of that troll stuff. The U.P. is beautiful for certain, but as long as you are below Big Mac you should poke around a bit. Try the West Michigan beaches for starters! - Dick Traveling
Amazing. History lives inside each building. The gift store is top quality historical gifts. Just lovely. - CHRIS ANN
