An all-round excellent bakery . Really friendly staff ; patient enough to explain the local delicacies to out-of-towners. Delicious pastries and a beautifully designed store.
Best rye bread in town (and probably the country !). The 'hindbærsnitte' is also good, and they even have gluten free muffins
Some call it Copenhagens or even worlds best bakery . Really great food, coffee is ok. Currently (2015) next to a huge construction site, so better just take away your bread/cake.

There are other great coffee hangouts in Vesterbro but Enghave Kaf are tough to beat; some of the very best coffee in Copenhagen, warm, friendly service and a nice atmosphere both inside and in. - Manos DeChoco
