WASPy Southern food . The "beignets " are basically deep fried supermarket donuts , biscuits taste like cheap pull-apart dinner rolls . Only "southern" thing about this place is its S. Modesto location.
Huckleberry tea is very good and not too sweet. Large portions except their value breakfast where you choose four things, don't do it not worth the price.
Bayou themed joint. Breakfasts here are awesome. Look for morning specials starting at or under $5 bucks. Slept on because it's out in the industrial area near the airport .
