The largest natural permanent lake in Slovenia , measuring 318 ha. It is 4100 m long, 1200 m wide and 45 m deep. In summer, the temperature of the water rises to 22 oC; in winter, lake often freezes.

It is much better than Bled. It's quiet , it's natural and fresh, and local. Not many accommodations, and less busy. The surrounding mountains in Triglav are astounding to watch. Worth to explore.

Huge and wonderful lake . It's way less crowded and less touristic than Bled and it's a great spot to go in sunny summer days

Pristine mystical surroundings. Had a wonderful hike , 12 kms in about 4 hrs, halted many times 2 take photos. Will come back 4 summer!

We had a nice sunny weather in December. A slow walk around the lake (cca 1.5h), drank some mulled wine , you can rent a boat.

Wonderful lake with an amazing views ! Rent a boat and cruise around. Water is cold but so refreshing.

Beautiful! This lake is for sports and swimming . Unlike Lake Bled has very few lakeside restaurants or walkways.

You can hire a kayak or kanoy and enjoy this lake absolutely ;-)

No biking around the lake allowed, nor possible. Terrain on the north side inappropriate (big stones and tree roots).

Look for the cute baby goats wondering around.

Lago mais lindo que vi! Vá cedo, para conseguir ver com sol, o que faz tooooda a diferença. Tente arranjar um lugar na margem direita, que é onde tem umas praias , hiper tranquilas. Imperdível.

Un très joli lac , plus nature et aussi magnifique que Bled. Bordé de petites plages qu'on peut privatiser suite à une petite balade en bateau . Prévoir voiture au vélo pour faire le tour .
