This place has great food! Their 10-curry-in-a-leaf is a must try if you like Sri Lankan dishes. In the evening it is noisy and full of tourists . Try AK Ristoro Restaurant if you want a quiet place .

The rice and curry is one of the best I have tried. The 2 serving staff Chanchala and Sampath were more than courteous. I would come here again for sure. Total price including drinks was Rs/-2,500

Definitely a must in Ella. Great food and atmosphere. Beef burger is great. They take bookings till 6:30 and it gets very busy so be ready to wait but it’s worth it!

Sit at the bar by the kitchen - it's amazing to watch the staff . Everything is delicious here and the tiramisu cake (even though not local) is so good, you'll just keep ordering more.

Order the lamprais ! Large amount of food and food for sharing. The chicken is super tender and falls off the bone. Flavors are complex and delicious

Compared to other food places in Ella, this restaurant might have the most tables. We tried the lump rice and the curry rice . Both were really good. The service is very friendly as well .

Food in Chill is amazing, curry and lump rice (lamprais ) are perfect. Their cooking school is a very cool experience - you cook with the chef for 3 hours directly in their kitchen for other guests.

try Traditional fish & chips ...well cooked and taste spectacular, my advice is to try mojito which is also fantastic...

The banana leaf sri lanka meal was very good but the vegetarian salted sri lanka vegetables meal was a big lie, tasted completed standard with non fresh vegetables from the cans.

In the evening it is packed with people, but the atmosphere still is nice. Waiters are very friendly . Food (garden salad and beefy burger ) were nothing special. Detox juice was good (organic ).

The homemade mint tea is great to have after a walk, even look unattractive but really tasty!! Try the Lampri curry also

Avoided this place on first night as it look far too western. What a mistake that was. Best curry in Sri Lanka, 10 curry 's wrapped and cooked in a banana leaf . WOW, top grub, shame I'm leaving.
