Nice, beautiful hotel . The newly renovated lobby is beautiful and the rooms have nice artwork on the walls. View from our room on the 14th floor was terrific. The rooms have 6 USB-ports for charging!

The most peaceful and calming hotel lobby ever! The fragrance; the ambient sound and light; and the furnishings all work together to invoke a pleasant and peaceful feeling every time you enter.

They've recently redone their bar area which is an awesome space! Really relaxing and a nice spot in Japantown. Their happy hour from 5-6 pm has $7 cocktails .

Very cool interior design but cruelly lacking in (basic for some?) hotel services such as room service , concierge , etc. The rooms are very comfortable though the WC and shower design aren’t.

If you are a fan of anime , the 1 weekend convention animation on display happens here every year in february. Lots of great local anime as well as great mainstream anime to see. :)

Some of the best music , shopping and restaurants in SFO are only a few blocks away. Walk over to Fillmore and go up the hill . SPQR restaurant was #delicious.

A very nice breakfast can be enjoyed at Sweet Maple ; a restaurant about 4 blocks away. All organic and cage free ingredients and meats.

Cool boutique hotel with a public garage connected under ground. Cheapest overnight parking I could find in downtown San Francisco.

Main area is super nice and huge. Rooms are ok but could be updated. Clean and hip but def a 3star. Good bang for the buck in a good location.

Great views from room. Great staff . Small rooms. Privacy is an issue with the showers . Great location.

Visit the lobby for sake hour and take your glass to the Japanese garden outside.

Rooms have been renovated, but the air conditioning barely works and if you’re in the 2nd floor, you won’t have operable windows. Don’t recommend.

Decent scene all around. Even has free WiFi ! Smells like sushi too. Perfect.

Staff here is awesome. My room has a sauna . Take the time to check out the koi pond/gardens.

The bar is great, but it's closed on Sunday and Monday. Say hi to the bartender Bill from us!

The gym is tiny but you can watch cable TV while you work out on a decent sized screen

Hotel rooms need a face lift. Service is great. The gym was just renovated and has everything from kettle bells to ropes-- really beautiful and enjoyed working out here

Came here for a meeting. Food was a weird & poorly-executed mix of Chinese & Italian dishes .

Good hotel but even with the Do Not Disturb sign on the door they knocked and after 30 minutes the recepition called to ask if they could clean the room. Not cool at all in that kind of hotel .
