Good small zoo . The botanical garden was less than impressive, but mostly due to the time of year (september). The tower provides a great view of the park . 640 yen to visit everything.
Higashiyama Zoo has a little-known gem, the 3rd-oldest roller coaster in Japan, Slope Shooter , a "side-friction" coaster built in 1961.

Lots to see here and there's also a huge garden/lake with it. Good enough to spend about 4 hours here.
It's a very big park which you need to spend your whole day to have the full view of it !

Stupidly full during Sakura seasons with limited spaces. Lots of stalls selling foods and drinks. And the park itself isn’t bad. A nice place to spend time with your friends and family. Give it a go - Arief Engah
