Authentic Sri Lankan food in a rainforest, overlooking a waterfall (sort of). Tasty, cheap and BYO . What's not to like? Full review: http://scofflondon.com/restaurants/apollo-banana-leaf-review/
Great food and service. Nice change from typical curry 's. BYOB as well , good for a cheap dinner with drinks
Ignore the slightly dated décor, this place is the real deal. Food is so good. Be careful with the crab masala though, THE messiest thing I've ever eaten.
Best curry I have had in London. Distinctly south Indian which is great as this is similar to Durban curries . Mutton roll starters are an 85p treat
One of the cheapest and best meals I've had in London. Try the Mutton Kothu , just don't have it on your own (it's BIG)
Devilled mutton and chilli chicken with saag aloo. So delicious! Friendly & efficient service too! :-)
Great food. BYO . A basic place, but worth a visit.
Busy atmosphere, a bit slow on service on this night however it was packed. Delicious food, cheap and definitely recommended.
Try the Chili Paneer Tikka Masala . Guys, that's the best curry I had so far!!!
Semi hidden gem in Tooting. Go here for the best Sri Lankan curry south of the river .
Amazing tikka chicken curry !!! All the food was great!
People are VERY friendly here!!! Prob the best curry in tooting- just look at how busy it always is compared to others!!
It's BYO . Delicious curries !
Fish korma is amazing!
Whatever anybody else might say... THIS is the best curry house in this part of the world
I could eat here every day! ... Literally - Its cheap enough to do so & bring your own bottle too .. Happy times!!
Chicken Tikka Jalfrezi is the house speciality ! A curry to die for!
Saag paneer . Mushroom curry .. OMG
Head to the Banana Leaf and have the house speciality : Chicken Tikka Jalfrezi .
Try the Cauliflower Pakoda to start.
People who work here are not very friendly ... Rrrrrrrrr..
It's got notably awful service but that's part the experience. Authentic food. Book ahead. Great dosa and byo !
Fairly average tasting food set in poor surroundings with matching service. I won't be back.
One of the best meals I’ve had in London. Fabulously creative. Not the usual suspects. I suggest you surrender to the very affordable tasing menu: meat or veg. 35£ well spent. - Brian Strauss
Incredible food. Ambience and decor was great ! Service was top notch. I would recommend to everyone. The monkfish curry was wow, as were the prawns and jackfruit. The coconut & lime sorbet is a must! - Nicole J
Try the Mirch fish starter, tasty, and different to the usual samosas etc. - Simon Clark
Lovely Pub and good food. Friendly staff. Now offers free child activities while you have Sunday Lunch. That’s right. Free childcare while you eat in a pub. ???????? - Oliver Bond
Amazing place for exhibitions and a few drinks at night time. Usually only a few £ to get in and it's a little vintage quirk. - Candid Magazine
