Zoom through the woods and over the water in Runaway Mine Train, the park’s first steel roller coaster.
Six Flags Great Adventure (Frontier Land) Jackson , NJ 08527 United States
A classic steel coaster made for the younger guests and for enthusiasts who don't like the bigger coasters....
The first roller coaster I went on as a kid... Thirty years ago! Glad its still here.
Come for the age of the ride and the bored operator saying "choo choo", stay for hearing the same two bars of the Indiana Jones theme on loop.
It's a rollercoaster , rough and overall not a smooth joy filled ride probably due to neglect as it temporarily broke while we were waiting.
This ride will give you neck & back injuries, no bueno
So glad there's one original coaster still in the park .
This was my first roller coaster as a kid.
one of my favorites and a must ride
Compared to all the other coaster, Skip this one, unless there's no line . Not worth the wait.
Chooo choooo!
Not worth the wait
Best ride in great adventure. Forget the hype for newer rides. This one is a must. - Dylan Zaragoza
Hands down the best ride ominous the States, and arguably the fastest, steepest wooden coaster in the world! Aye! El Toro!!!! - Cj Millar
Long queue, but worth the wait. Probably my favorite ride here. - Pablo
If you want a real coaster, try the Batman ride. I still enjoyed this, though, the production is great and immersive. I loved the concept. The ride itself is short but fun. - Ilissa Gilmore
This is one of their older classic coasters. Not as smooth as the newer indoor rides. - Dayle-Lishus
Summer classic, must ride at once or summer is not complete. - Jason Vanderhorn
A great place to get some sun in NJ if you don’t want to go to the beach! The rides are fun and the lazy river is the best - Omer Ashkenazi
