An interesting bowl of noodles but not outstanding. Besides fishballs & minced pork , he includes slices of braised mushroom , fish cake , boiled pork skin , pig liver , & lots of taugeh (bean sprouts ).
Nice selection of various Toppings, with a piece of crispy pork lard . Soup is pretty tasty. Default chili level is quite spicy .
Closed on Wednesdays. Otherwise open 7:30am-2:30pm daily. However, they are usually sold out by 1pm
Fishballs are irregular so I thought they were handmade but they're from a factory . Tasty nonetheless - they use a good supplier
Items 1 and 2 on the menu are identical except for the type of Noodle used. So same Toppings and sauce
Jovial chef , especially if u converse with him in Teochew dialect
Sells minced pork fishball noodles
Best hokkien mee I've had. Full of flavour - stock is great. Prawns are quite fresh. The charcoal fire does make a difference - Gabriel Seah
Good: the batter is fried very well and crispy. I order the crispy version, not wet version. The oysters are very fresh. - Bernard Lim
They're very flexible - you can order everything on its own to customise your meal - Gabriel Seah
Dry Mee Hoon kuey is really good! The chilli and anchovies can be purchased for consumption at home ;) - Maureen T
