This place has been here for a long time and has that old, distinguished feeling. As a beer guy I was happy to find rarities on tap . I thought this was just another Karjala III place. I was wrong.
Cozy , better than average beer selection - but it's still a local pub , with its local "premium customers"
Probably best staff you will find in Tampere. Selection is average.

Iso A on ilman S-etukorttia halvempi kuin iso III. S-etukortilla samanhintaiset.

Several good draught beers. 1-3 changing draughts. A good single malt selection. Specialty is the German beers imported by the pub. - Karri Huhtanen
Very traditional pub. As far as I know it's the first English pub in Finland. As it seems to be in its original state today. New real ale cask is cracked open every Thursday. Worth a visit. - Jan Rosenberg

Very nice old architecture when you walk past that big yellow school building and go to Palomäentie and Kurilankuja. - Pyry H
