They say old is gold, it still remains one of the best hotels in Cairo despite its new and more modern competition next door. The rear garden is a very cool place to enjoy a clean sheeshah and unwind.

The most gorgeous hotel in Cairo , if you ask me. It's also my moms favorite place & she's been taking me here since I was a baby. Still love it! The garden is a great hangout on Fridays.

Last 6 months I have visited this hotel 4 times. Stayed at suit,normal,executive.. Rooms are pretty enough but bed&topper must change! For furniture no comment. Restaurants/a la carte are awesome!

The hotel has a scent from the past... Beautiful, quite and the outdoor activities includes hookah and dining. JW Steak House is a must.

It is a huge hotel , a bit old with classic furniture . Nevertheless i never has any issue and the staff is super helpful.

I earned my platinum status there so it is special for me. Excellent amenities and restaurants . The rooms though are outdated. Try the steakhouse and of course walk around the gardens .

Good pool because its 24/7 also in room dining is very tasty but almost always i am harassed by the foreign arab men that come here...

Old palace .. Don't forget to take a walk at night in the saraya its really huge especially near the casino

Nice rooms but smoky everywhere, even nonsmoking rooms. Very attentive and kind staff . Gezira Tower looks a bit newer than Zamalek Tower.

Rooms are nice but come for everything OUTside. Great gardens and pool (open 24 hours along with the gym ). Wifi is pretty decent for surf/download but not streaming

Iftar at Omar Cafe is diverse with good quality however the buffet station is a bit tight and was super crowded

They make the best Um Ali, an Egyptian dessert . You must try it.

avoid the garden (curiously numbered 31xx) and 2nd floor rooms. there are bars and party rooms that will blare music and keep you up all night. be pushy about this request, its worth it!

The gym is located outside so in colder weather bring your jacket else you will be carrying a towel back to your room over sweaty body. Bad food, too.
