One of the best places of Beijing has become worst in years.. too many new structures , fake hutongs, and commercialization has lead the place to loose its authenticity and flavor.. Big disappointment

Stay off the main alley and explore the hutongs in peace ! Several hidden gems are nearby such as Savoiree de Koree for Korean food , Mao Mao Chong and Great Leap Brewery for fabulous drinks. Read more

Really fun pedestrian road , old style with tons of snacks and little shops for hand made purses , clothes , etc… a few mass market places making their way in, but mostly still small shops.

it has the best preserved hutong in Beijing . Many cafes , restaurants , boutique shops make this a hot spot for tourists . Enter from the southern end and walk out from the northern end.

Take you time to explore the shops there. Go there to try some interesting snacks , takeaways and desserts . Daytime is more crowded . At night it has a bunch of bars to enjoy.

It's not a restaurant , it's an alley full of small restaurants and food stands . You find things to eat (mostly sweeten things) here that you don't find in normal restaurants .

A perfect place to find some chinese street food . Shopping is a lil bit expensive and bargaining isnt entertained by sellers.Walking leisurely at night shouldnt be missed by anyone who visits beijing

Once a hip neighborhood with cool cafes , overcommercialization has taken its toll. Try wandering off the beaten path around gulou or wudaoying hutong next to lama temple instead

It's near Nanluoguxiang station. It was packed with tourists , cafes , snack/drink stalls & Chinese trinket shops. Public bike isn't allowed to enter the alley. Modern Lady & Banana Republic was here.

Should definitely be on the must go to list for Beijing. Love this area.

Traditional preserved hutong in Beijing . Lots of cafes , restaurants , boutique shops make this a popular place for tourists . Always too many people, would get lost there.

Come here early. It's awesome when it's deserted. Take the downtown backpackers tour of the Great Wall and shop here when you get back.

Nice walking street, love all the trendy and tasty food stall and magnificent fashion items! The must to visit !!

Check this place out early in the morning and later at night. During the day, get lost in the surrounding neighborhood . It's safe and very much a pre-modern China.

This place is so crowded today...tried their rum milk tea at 这儿没有玉米汁儿, liked it a lot!!

A few years ago this place was pretty nice. Now... it's become a victim of over-development and is just another ghastly tourist trap . It's as bad as houhai now.

Weekend crowds are crazy

The place has become so overcomercialized, not even expats are coming here anylonger.

Nice spot for pub hopping, with some faves being 12sqm, Salud (for rums ), Reef Bar , and, around the corner, Amilal (nice vibe, good whiskey value).

Hire a 3 wheel scooter if u wish to cover a long distance quickly. Taxi won't do u no good in these alley.

我最爱的约会地点就是这里，在北京这里简直就是小丽江，地方不大非常适合转转里面也有一些特色的小店，带着妹子来着绝对让妹子眼前一亮，而且消费便宜，根本不用担心花钱的问题，最重要转完可以直接转场去后海那些文艺范十足的小酒吧听着悠扬的歌曲玩着快乐的小游戏，妹子马上就湿了。还有很多人认为北京最好的搭讪地点在 三里屯和西单。以本人的亲身测试而言这里才是北京最好的搭讪练习道场。

每年回国必须去的地方之一。街上很多小吃极富特色，文宇奶酪早就不是唯一的选择了…拐到黑芝麻胡同还有给力的鬼味烤翅

曾经一下班就往那奔的地儿,有好玩的创意店,有宁静的书吧,有飘着香的咖啡馆,有挂着单反按动快门的人;游人、商贩、土著老阿伯；石板椅子，小木凳，老北京酸奶。啊哦，我爱南锣！

中央戏剧学院对面的Peking Cafe露天顶楼花园不错，适合小憩，不过可能人多

毒奶事件过后，我还是喜欢喝中国的酸奶。:)

外面拉胡同游的大爷好萌，见到老外说 Hello，人家 Hi 了一声走了…

人太多，基本是用来购物的，环境比较差，满地都是油垢。
