Richmond Tea Rooms

Traditional english style tea room, serving food and an array of beverages throughout the day. The totally OTT decor, gives a knowing nod towards a Tim Burton inspired design. The chefs have created unique specialities whilst also providing the traditional favourites too.

A short flight of stairs leads one up to the 'Alice in Wonderland ' themed establishment. The interior is attractive and manages to avoid being twee. Love this place!

Nice atmosphere. not air-conditioned though, so dress lightly in summer. mostly visited by elderly women

Artemi Morningstar

worth a visit when in town , the atmosphere is unique!

VSandra

Didn't like the scone , was more like a crumby bread baked two days ago. The decoration is somehow too much and looks cheap . There are definitely better tea rooms in Mcr.

If you're a wheelchair user or can't do stairs, don't bother: entrance has a big flight of stairs with no hand rail & apparently no level access.
