You can miss things in the museum if you're not nosy enough. More directions should be put in the old building . Exposition is amazing! The new building reminds movie Inception. Highly recommend.
We were told by a native Tel Aviv doesn't have great museums . I beg to differ! This one has 3 spectacular collections. Classics from every contemp genre. And we never even got to the new wing. Go!!
This building is an art piece on its own, and the permanent collection is worth a visit! Check out the lightscapes of this place!
Don’t miss the Gershuni exhibit , which captures the fascinating artistic evolution of Mosche Gershuni from his political conceptual art of the 1970’s to his present day bronze sculptures .
If you love art , this is a must see place. From painting to video installations, from photography to sculptures , exhibitions are always changing with new and exciting stuff!
Wonderful exhibitions with a true stand behind them. Make sure to visit the Local Israeli Art Shop on the - 1 floor for some political, modern art with a bold statement
Not really worth it if you love art . Israeli art pet is fun and interesting. Enjoyed discovering that part that I think should be bigger.
I really like this place. Loads of great art and if you get a chance check out the Robert Capa Photography exhibit . It was excellent
Excelent cultural afternoon with great collection and one of the best designs and architectural building
The best thing is not a museum shop (as it usually is) but the library : dozen of books about art + artists + history of art etc. must-spend-a-day there.
Huge collection of exhibits located in many showrooms. From outside this museum look very intriguing. Entrance fee for adult: 50 NIS.
The museum’s Herta & Paul Amir building is made up of concrete geometric surfaces that form a gleaming white triangle. A 90-foot-high internal atrium links galleries devoted to contemporary art .
1 top work of richter and klimt they have. The building is great, and liked this japanese artist !
As well as housing some great lectures there is some brilliant modern art on display in this stunningly designed building
For 60 minutes you are going to enter another world, shrouded in mystery and fantasy in which you'll have to find clues, solve puzzles and work together - anything to save yourself and break out! Read more
Israel's first museum is also its finest source for modern art . Plenty of exhibitions spanning art & design in every form of media ensure a day's worth of musing and schmoosing.
You can easily spend while away half a day in the fantastic Fine Arts Museum , located at 27 Shaul Hamelech Boulevard. We keep our guests updated on all the exhibitions going on!
A complex geometry with an amazing central light well designed by Preston Scott Cohen. More details at: http://www.archdaily.com/137601/tel-aviv-museum-of-art-preston-scott-cohen/
a highly enjoyable collection of impressionist art . there's also an exhibition of works by the amazing robert capa . don't miss it!
Skip the tired old wing and explore every corner of the new wing, which houses architecture and Israeli modern art exhibits . Separate entrance is across from the national library .
The new addition is great. Like anything in the art world some installations are very cool and some less but overall quite a lot to see
easily one of the best art museums in the world - definitely something not to miss in tel aviv
Splendid! Had a great time there, especially on Saturday afternoon, when it’s too hot outside
Interesting photo exposition of Robert Capa at the second floor. Dedicated mostly to WWII and nearest repatriation. Lots of Marc Shagal works in the main building.
Nice architecture and interesting expositions mainly from local artists . Be aware it closes at 2 pm on Fridays.
Much bigger than I thought. Wonderful exhibitions in a beautiful architecture . Very child friendly
Great building, exhibitions these time of year are pretty good, but the first impression it gives you of the receptionists not speaking English and the rude ladies for the tickets leaves a bad taste.
Fantastic exhibition of Capa photographs from WWII, the building is an experience in itself
Gorgeous architecture (natural path and light), brilliant exhibitions . "I'm also Douglas Gordon" shaked me inside...
Ask about concert in day of visiting. If you buy ticket to concert , you may visit museum without any charge.
The good cafe is in the new wing. Don't get hoodwinked into going to the junky cafe in the old building basement . Dismal and bad food. The new one is bright and cheery on the courtyard .
Opening Hours: Sunday CLOSED Monday and Wednesday 10.00-16.00 Tuesday and Thursday 10.00-22.00 , Friday 10.00-14.00 , Saturday 10.00-16.00
Judith is the greatest tourguide i ve ever seen. So motivated so into the museum .greatest experience ever
Closed in Sunday's but still worth a visit for the architecture
Not only taking the photo of building; but just give 1 hour to visit exhibition inside that is more interesting than outside...
Fantastic architecture of the building (the new one as well as the main building)

Nice collection of modern art , some pieces are a bit shocking :-D
Perfect inside and outside
Amazing museum with great expositions . ????
David Reeb exhibition is very powerful, after not seeing his stuff for a while.
Don't miss the Vik Muniz exhibition downstairs!
The pavillion dedicated to Impressionism and Post-Impressionism is very interesting
Free entrance for children, up to 3 kids per family!!
Every time I come here I ask myself why provide visitors WiFi if you aren't using it to enhance the experience?
