I stood watching as people scribbled fears, hopes dreams & regrets on2 scraps of paper, folded them &tucked them in2 the tiny crevices of the wall. Skeptic or believer. There is power in this place.

This place has beed taken hostage by the Ultra Orthodox Jews. And they're the ones who makes the rules here. Reform Jewish Women are discriminated here. Only the Superior Men have shade & women "0".
Men on one side, women on the other. Bring a scarf to cover your head. Walk backwards away from the wall to a respectful distance to leave.

Emotional and breathtaking even though I'm not Jewish. I went there on Shabbat and I did touch the wall and stuck my prayers in it.
Interesting spectacle on Friday evenings - get there between 6-7pm!
Nice to visit, but they keep separated man and women, which nowadays is senseless.
There's an airport-like security check before you get in, but definitely worth the hassle. Great place.

Dress conservatively, saw people walking backwards ????. The men and women areas are seperate. Don't ask for directions to masjid- aqsa????. You will get dirty looks if not get ignored. No smoking.
