Toy 's museum is museum with very special aura. I think every indigenous habitant of Tartu has a piece of his/her heart in there.
The lady behind the counter is really cold and unfriendly. Otherwise the museum is lovely, we spent a really good time there.
There is a nice children's playroom on the second floor that is open till 4 pm daily

Vahva koht lastele ja huvitav ka täiskasvanutele. Aga pidage meeles, muuseum on suur. :) Забавное место для детей , понравится и взрослым. Учтите, музей большой :)

It's not in the centre and therefore seems to be kind a lonely place. Acctually you can join with mail-list and see that there are many events taking place, for adults and also children. - Jansu S
Must have for children in Tartu. Scientific experiments, food for thought, displays and things to do. Enough to do for the whole day, and has a very decent and cheep local cafeteria. - Ieva Andersone
Small and beautiful. A lot of cosy corners with benches. Entry to the main garden is free, greenhouses (3€) are open till 17:00. - Katja M.
