The scenery is beautiful. We saw many deer and turkey . We stopped and hiked some of the trails . So glad we did since you cannot see everything by simply driving through. Hope to bring our family back!

Myesha Jenkins

Saw a black bear and 2 turkeys ! I loved the scenery. It was congested in spots because of the onlookers for the bear . If you bring your dog (we did) you can pull over and let them out on leash.

Grace Craig

Get the app 'Cades Cove Driving Tour '. It guides you through the trail and gives you a history lesson on all of the sites. Since there is no service, the app does not require 3G connection or wifi .

Mike Francis

Its the best natural park . Est in 1901, the original homes people lived in are here. The hikes to water falls are great and the natural beauty of the mountains and wildlife are wonderful.

Valerie Leek

Beautiful scenery , and the path itself is moderate in difficulty. They close the path from motorists on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 7am-11am, so only cyclists & walkers can pass through. It's great!

The Traveler

It’s a very nice drive, but if you don’t have patience it’s not for you. It’s one lane no passing and can get really really slow. It absolutely takes longer than you think. But you are here to relax

Philip Campbell

Come for the wild black bears , white tail deer, and elk . Stay for the beautiful Smoky Mountain views .

Chad Hembree

Protected from the rest of the world , the folks in Cades cove were still using old methods of living well after most of the country had moved on.

Michael P. Dotson

Get here early on Saturday and you can bike around the 11 mile loop before they let cars in. Do not bike the loops after it's opened to cars. Out-of-towners are rude and it's dangerous.

Colin Lord

Plan for traffic. It's only an 11 mile loop . But if there's a lot of people visiting, it can take a couple hours to complete the loop.

Suzanne Hinnant

Bring a camera & come in the late afternoon to get the best pics!

Sabrena Carson

Beautiful scenery ....could spend hours here walking the different trails . Saw a lot of wildlife .

Crystal Bing

Amazing place. The wildlife is beautiful. The cabins and churches that still stand are humbling.

Grace Craig

go early in the morning, so you don't get caught in traffic.

Kyra Kilian

This takes longer than you think but it’s a great way to spend the day.

Sara

Scenic and beautiful, but not a sign of any wildlife here. No bears , deer, or birds in sight. Maybe they were hiding? The loop drive is nice, but only one lane, so it can drag esp.if cars are slow.

Beau Grant

Go early. Sunrise. It takes about an hour to drive from gatlinburg, unless you are Mario andretti. Fishintje abrams creek is worthwhile. Go with a buddy. The limestone upstream create very slippery wa

Worth the drive, however, it can get slow at times, and there is no way to turn around midway.

Chad Kanera

Opens from sunrise to sunset . Closed during Winter.

Michael Peters

Park rangers are fine, mind your manners and be respectful of where you are. This place is absolutely beautiful.

David Williams

Took us 4+ hours to get through Cade’s Cove with just barely stopping due to wall to wall traffic. Still it was worth it but not for anyone who doesn’t have a lot of patience in traffic!

PJ Oschmann

Only come here to look at scenery; I saw just a deer. Once you enter, you cannot turn back, and getting stuck behind a slow poke is common.

Frankie "Sarge" Vernon

You have got to go here! It is the best!

Aiden Kirchner

Such an awesome place. You will always see deer here.

Chad Kanera
