I sat at the bar and tried the pumpkin , cinnamon beer . Was asked how I liked it and said it was a little sweet for my liking. The bar lady switched it out for an IPA . Such attentive service !
The inspiration for the TV show “Cheers” at Beacon Hill . Not everyone will immediately know your name, but you’ll surely meet lots of people here who’ll be glad you came! Kids allowed up to 10 pm.
Upstairs bar is the set bar . We we're here on a crowded hi day weekend and we're still able to find a spot to sit after waiting just a few mins. Had a beer and bowl of clam chowder .
Super exclusive, great beer selection
The Giant Norm Burger is a delight. Calling it a whopper on steroids is apt. We also had the starter platter which had the best of everything. The drinks were refreshing, just with too much ice.
Of all the touristy stuff we did this was probably the most touristy . Like everything else in Boston it wasn't cheap . I did like the chili and it was a good amount. It has 2 gift shops .
Cheers! Not everyone knows your name but it's worth a gander just for the nostalgia. Simple bar food that fills you up, great beer selection .
The inspiration for the show is downstairs. Go upstairs for a replica of the set from the show. Enjoy a beer in Norms spot!
Originally known as Bull & Finch Pub in honor of Boston architect Charles Bulfinch. TV show almost based in Kansas City or Barstow, CA. Cliff actually auditioned to play Norm! More info in blog.<LINK> Read more
This is a great place to visit. Good beers , food and the locals are very friendly . The bartender upstairs was extremely friendly and on her game for customer service.
Hoegaarden and fresh fish & chips its a winner. Window. Seat facing Beacon Street is worth wait a while. Good times www.SkyHighArt.com Cheers!
Maybe it’s cheesy to want to visit a bar where everybody knows your name… but I loved every moment here.
Nobody will know your name, but who cares; you’re in a place of classic television history!
Its a dive bar downstairs and a full mock of the tv show bar upstairs place smelled a bit not recommended but if your a fan of the show by all means see it get a beer
Though everyone may not know your name most people know why you want to be here. Go ahead, be a tourist , visit the place and enjoy a pint or Norm's beer !
Normally I’m not a fan of tourists trap places, but as a Cheers fan, I had to make the pilgrimage here! However, getting a seat can be quite difficult as it is always busy it would seem.
Great burgers and fish n chips . The ambiance is awesome, too.
Offers a happy hour (Mon.–Fri. 4–6 p.m.) with half-price appetizers . Pub-inspired food is served from 11 a.m. on and children are allowed on premises until 10 p.m. Read more
Touristy but a solid experience. Grab a spot at the upstairs bar .
I'm a server here, and I highly recommend our Bacon Blue Burger . Make sure to ask your server about the beers of the month, we're all pretty knowledgeable about the booze!
Couldn't find Norm seating at the bar , but besides that, like being in the tv show . Gift shop is inside and has Norm nuts :-))
It's pure nostalgia nothing else. Over priced everything and considering the show ended 20 years ago, It should be more humble. The memorabilia is expensive just like the drinks. Go just cuz.
Cold beer and a juicy burger . Try the bacon and blu burger and a local brew . Cheers!
The "set bar " is vibrant and fun. Meet some locals and pretty soon "everybody knows you name"!
The main set is up stairs and the bar is down stairs.the bar isn't the actual cheers bar that is upstairs but is only a set.
Since I don't drink, I ordered a water. Apparently not a lot of people do that at Cheers! LOL. Super fun place... great to see NORM and FRAZIER name plates, etc.
Can get very crowded , and they don't take reservations . Definitely visit if you enjoyed the show!
Gotta go and get a beer in a cheers glass! Don't forget to you can buy it too!
If you go and want a seat, always tell the hostess staff that you are eating. Otherwise they won't seat you. You have to just stand and hope to be seen over the crowd at the bars .
Such a great place! Turkey club sandwich was to die for!! I plan on re watching episodes of cheers to feel like I'm in it!!!!
Go in the off times. This place will get packed
Didn’t get to eat here but I enjoyed touring the set of the bar from the show and the gift shop .
Fun place! A little bummed to find out the show wasn't filmed here
Enjoy one of our 8 local beers on tap with 4 more imports and domestics on tap . As a server here we strive to make sure you have a great time. Best chowdah is boston plus phenomincal burgers
Sit in Norm's seat and live the dream. Just remind people to yell "Norm!" when you walk in to get the full effect.
Great pub food . Loved the french fries and seltzer drink.
Delicious salmon , burgers and more!
Great food and friendly staff !
Where everybody knows your name – located right down the street from the Liberty. We recommend trying one of the eNormous burgers .
Cozy bar-walk upstairs to see the set bar
They have their own root beer and it’s great
The salmon was amazing. Blue cheese burger was great too. Ask to go upstairs to "the set". Very very cool. Must check it out!
This place is great! Excellent service and Jeff is the best bartender !
Go in, buy a beer and have some bar snacks . Oh yeah, don't expect it to look like the bar on TV !
Try the nachos with buffalo chicken !
Carla's meatballs were AMAZING... SO was the steak sammich !
Sure it's touristy , but you still have to go at least once
The norm burger is delicious!
The actual set is upstairs pass the gift shop ;)
Fun place....cool reminiscences of the Ols Cheers show. Poor service!
Great wine selection and decent bourbons, bartenders need some instruction on proper old fashioned making but they follow direction well. - Ace
Lovely park in the centre of Boston. Go for a picnic in the summer. Dog-friendly 🐶 - Irina
Really nice park to visit although quite small in size. It's haunted as well so you might see some friendly spirits! - Hayley Cooper
couldn't get seats on the monster so we sat dead center both times. Excellent seats, love this ballpark. All the offerings of the new parks with the original old-school vibe. - teresa Schmitz
