Very popular lunch stop . Roast chicken is very tender with tasty skin.There's assam kembung fish ( watery style ) & loh bak + kembung also. In fact , the chicken is so good , stray dogs come begging.

Delicious and well-priced chicken rice . Loved their assam fish and lobak (chicken ) as well . My family would drive all the way from Penang island just to eat here. :3

Chicken rice is pretty good, and one can choose other Loh Bak as sides as well .

You’ll get a bowl of assam laksa soup when dining in. Also get sides like loh bak , Chinese sausage and pandan-wrapped chicken .

Traditional Lap Cueng & salt pork are tasty, not expensive , foreign worker here very hardworking, he make everything delivered fast.

Assam soup sucks, too sour and watery. Chicken skin not as crispy as Beng Huat. Hands down, Beng Huat is still the clear winner. -Penang Kia Food Critique-

The Asam Soup too dilute and strong Prawn paste aroma, not reach the balance of sour, sweet and spicy . Soy source use for chicken spoil the chicken taste. But price is cheap .
