Great biking trails lead right to the lake , a full loop is about 2 miles . Bring a picnic lunch and stop by the many rock ledges overlooking the Hudson Valley .
It's so peaceful here and water is nice. Everyone who is in New York and likes hiking should definitely visit this place.
The path around the lake offers great views and takes less than an hour. Be sure to check out the views of Hudson Valley from the south end of the lake .
This is a great place to see the sun set. Can get very crowded on weekends in the fall.
