The closest hotel to the Kyoto conference center and the only decent place to eat at in this area. Their tea selection is very nice also.
Very good location, lots of green and quiet . Ask for the tea house, it's nice and a bit hidden in the garden

I was not entirely happy with the room, seemed a little old, yet the service was great and the breakfast too. 10 minutes walking from Kyoto Tower and train station. The bar at the basement was good. - Pach Reed
From the main Kyoto Station take the shuttle bus to the hotel. Staff is very friendly. Rooms are clean. Beds were perfect. Metro nearby. Temples across the street. Shopping on 1 km. Breakfast good! - andre woudenberg
