Set back in a secluded yard off the High Street. Very friendly service and great real ales .

They'll even sort you out with lunch when you turn up an hour after food service is finished... with your Dad on Fathers Day... cheers guys! Steak was lush ;-) and saved me from being red faced. Haha

UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT: and they now have a one or two ales , and a real cider pump - Brill! All is forgiven.

Try the Open Mic night on Wednesday, good beer and good music

Don't drink here, drink in Walters or Nellies. There's no real cider and the real ale (if any) is badly kept... obviously this may change but that's MY personal experience.

The new licensee is now selling real cider ! Result.
