Need a break from skiing ? Drive through the Elk Refuge and spot hundreds of elk , some rams, maybe even a bison . Careful- rams get pretty friendly !!
Loved this! My 2nd time. First time wagon on skis , 2nd time the wagon was on wheels. Very interesting & serene. Beautiful. Highly recommend
Great tours allow you get close to the elk and the Cowboys definitely know their elk facts
Horse-drawn sleigh ride through thousands of wild elk , amazing!
Absolute must do while in Jackson. Take the time to pull off the road and just enjoy.
Our group took a fun sleigh ride into the refuge ! Great tour
Head out on a week day in the mid-mornings. The Elk are up by then and not sick of the tourists yet. Keep an eye out for Fluffy the Coyote.
A must do in Jackson!!
The first elk are starting to arrive. There is a herd of big horn sheep hanging out by the road , near the butte.
The reason that Jackson Hole exists!
Not just herds of Elk . Look for the bison too!
Lots of elk out
beautiful too bad no elk yet
Look for the sheep !
Great hike with incredible lake and views as a reward. Noticed a few folks with strollers, not a great idea. Some parts are narrow with plenty of rocks and roots. - Rob Doherty
Informative guides - Lizzie Borden
As always. Not there unless you have a picture of the sign. This one is sort of hard to get as your driving fast by it. - Jason Shellhammer
Love everything about this place. Winter, summer, spring, fall...go there. - Megan Cunningham
Beautiful sister to Yellowstone. Great mountain range with a lot of wildlife to see. - Mark B
