Toasted bun with pork floss & omelette . I wish the flatbread was warm & fresher. The combination of sweet & savoury fillings would go well with the slight crispness of each bite
Tau huey + hot soya is still my favourite and best here. Melts in the mouth and warms the tummy. SG too strict with ingredients used, hope they can get back the same old standard!
Though std has dropped, this 24hr shop is still the only place I know to get proper Chinese 烧饼 (oven roasted flatbread ) w/ 油条 (Fried fritters ).Try with additional porkfloss and egg stuffing. Yum!!
Taiwan noodles . Interesting mee sua bowl. Mushy & savoury comfort. Cooked bits of pig innards. Be careful, it's also garlicky (if u r not a fan)
My first savoury beancurd drink with vinegar, parsley , preserved vegetables , youtiao ???? China-style
Good for a spot of youtiao bfast and soya bean . They serve salty soya bean as well . 24 hours .
You don't get many savoury versions in Singapore and even less people who appreaciates it. The 咸豆浆 is not nice but the 咸豆花 is not bad and worth a try.
Although not bad at all, it is questionable whether it deserves your effort to visit :(
The Northern Chinese have their bean curd salty
Shortchanged by e standard n quality of food, used to be very good but not anymore ever since it moved. Trust me.. Shi Lin's mee sua , Rocher's beancurd + soya milk beat it easily now
the red bean paste shao bing is really the gem. come before 10pm for the taiwanese savoury foods like lu rou fan!
Youtiao has this worrying metallic/chemical taste tts got to do w/ the oil/dough. Everything else on menu tastes suspicious too.
Ussualy i have taiwan noodle , now try different food
I have no idea they moved again and this time onto the infamous part of Geylang! They have down sized too! Hopefully their food standard is still there.
The kong bak pau with ground peanut and a dash of kiam chye (salted mustard ) is pretty good!
The shrinking number of customers is an obvious sign of exorbitant prices for average food. First try is a lesson, second chance is a lecture. Third time? My brain has no loose nut to be an idiot.
Swee Choon Dim Sum is offering lunch from 5 Oct 2016. Drive over instead of eating lousy food here.
Loving the meesua and used to peanut top w soya
I didn't try their food. I've ordered hot soya drink. Nothing special actually. Normal eatery shop.
late night snack . Just normal. Don't expect "Taiwan standards"
Taiwan mee sua is a must here if you haven't try it before
Very smooth tauhuey. Don't forget the youtiao!
Nonsense 烧饼,don't even bother to cook it fresh. All stale and harden.Terrible.
Toast bun meat floss egg (肉松烧饼) 's standard dropped after they moved. Enjoyed the braised pork rice though.
Very fresh soya milk is a nice surprise
Not recommended for dim sum . One of the worst one I had ever in Singapore. They were served less than 5 minutes :(
The you tiaos and soya bean drink's the best. Love dunking the the stuff into the cold drink. Heaven.
Standard dropped so much that I don't think I will ever be back again.
Good meet up with Supporter at HanstSportNutrition.com
We paid $1.30 for a yutiao (fried dough fritters ) — more than double the usual 50/60-cents. It was cold & stale, and this was 9am! Not ordering again :-(
Salty soya bean drink has dried scrimps and salted veg . Way too exotic for me. Sweet soya bean drink is mediocre.
They have shifted. For the best yu tiao you have to try this. Check out the carrot cake as well .
Taiwan beef noodles here are amazing, soup can be used with the you tiao!
Just across their old address. Smaller but comfy
Standard really drop. You tiao so hard. Same applies to carrot cake . Yet prices are high
Don't eat the tea egg ! How is this a tea egg ? So white! More like hard boiled egg ! Soya bean drink also so diluted!
The Taiwan Mee Sua is da best! Must try!
Not as good as it used to be. Popularity has also drop.
The shop name speaks for itself what is 招牌(recommended) food.
Shifted to Geylang 24A~
Now address is 458 Geylang Road
service crew service is horrible specially d counter cashier ,a fat lady in 30s & an auntie in 50s. d business is very gd n nice food but gt to tolerate their staff 's attitude, onces is enough. bad!
Soya bean drink is diluted.
Standard has dipped . :(
Good you tiao! :)
The Taiwanese meatballs are delish!
O love beancurd
Other than the you tiao and soya bean drink which are normal, the rest of the food are below standard...
The food here is getting worse
Jiak Tau Huay...
Love the prawn fried rice and white mee sua. Not to forget their sambal chili sauce too - Jennie Goh
Great supper hangout place. Frog leg porridge, century egg porridge, braised toufu... - Saudade
One of the best Hokkien and one of my fave food in Singapore - Tiger Miyaw
tofu with mango salad is da bomb! Their homemade drinks are also good! The porridge is also recommended. - Yi Min Tan
cheap beers and fun band. the rest is up to you but it's not a pushy place. - Augustin du Payrat
Oh my gosh! You can get lost in this multi level department store. It sells everything you will need in Singapore! A bit manic at the weekends but its open 24hours! - Annie Hibberd
