The Moat Tea Rooms

Set in one of the oldest buildings in Canterbury, the Moat Tea Rooms aim to recapture the ceremony and tradition of taking tea. China cups, loose leaf tea, home-made scones and personal service recreate the relaxing experience lost in today's busy world.

For £6,50 you'll get 2 small scones and a pot from a huge variety of awesome teas . The scones are very basic and very small with the cheapest jam and cream. Very friendly staff and ok seating upstairs

This is such a cozy venue with the most delicious scones and cream tea . Staff are lovely and the cakes look amazing too. Definitely go here!

The cream tea is a must - lovely scones , staff and coffee . Loved the setting too! Shame the cake was a bit of a let down.

Lama Sabri

The best tea selection and homemade cakes ! Their breakfast is yummy too.

Ask about the garden seating , it's amazing!! For some reason they don't tell you about it unless you ask.

Francesca Haselden

So much food for the same price as any old restaurant . Cakes made on the premises by the same guy who serves you, plus the building is lovely :)

Victoria Terry

Go to the cream tea as the scones are super tasty and you can choose from the 39 teas on offer.
