Proper “proper pub ” with a very wide Whiskey selection . Pies were very good once, no idea if they still are.
The homemade pies are something else . Good choice of real ales too

Excellent real ale pub owned by Nottingham’s Castle Rock Brewery just outside the city walls. A large cask beer selection, real cider, & has just installed an impressive craft beer wall. A must visit! - Dave Milne
