MKT Trail

The MKT is Columbia's premiere trail. This 10-foot wide trail built on the old railbed of the MKT railroad begins in downtown Columbia in Flat Branch Park at 4th and Cherry Streets. The all-weather crushed limestone surface provides opportunities for walking, jogging, running, and bicycling.

Awesome running trail ! Ifyou start downtown in the district, it's on concrete, along some streams and goes under roads so that you don't have to stop at intersections , then changes over to soft trail .

Awesome place for a run! The stream next to the trail brings the temp down on a hot day.

Biking to work makes a great day even better.
