Il Ponte Vecchio è uno dei simboli della città di Firenze ed uno dei ponti più famosi del mondo. Attraversa il fiume Arno nel suo punto più stretto, dove nell'antichità esisteva un guado.
Ponte Vecchio 50125 Florence Tuscany Italy
Nice place to be, mainly jewelry and watch shops. On either end of the bridge theres a cool vibe with stores and caffes.
The Ponte Vecchio is the oldest bridge in Florence and crosses the Arno at its widest point. It dates back to Roman times and has been re-built on several occasions. Read more
It is a Medieval stone closed-spandrel segmental arch bridge , noted for still having shops built along it. Butchers initially occupied the shops; the present tenants are jewellers and art dealers.
Very nice view . Real enjoyable moment to go over there and walk around at the bridge . You can see all the gold stores and how they still have the old doors when they close for the day.
It's a must see, You can feel themedieval times still lives in that bridge . The gold stores still use the same door systems to close for the day,It is amazing to see the new meeting the old.
Bridge , pedestrian street, shopping arcade , one of the signatures of the beautiful city of Florence. Covered bridge supported by 3 arches. Many artists perform in the evening. Everyone wants a pic here
This bridge is unique. It was built so many years ago. Nice to walk here!
Great bridge with high end jewelry shops . Symbolic of Florence architecture during the Middle Ages.
Make sure you go a bridge further down to get some less crowded pictures. If you need jewellery then you came to the right place!
Extremely overrated bridge . Prime tourist spot that is shoulder to shoulder during the day. Consider going to another less crowded bridge and having a view of the bridge and sunset .
It gets crowded but still a great place to look at beautiful jewelry and watch the people. Good for a great sunset also.
You must check out the shops on the bridge , as well as the strong selection in the streets to either side of it. Then get some iconic photos with the bridge as the backdrop
The most famous bridge in Florence .. Definitely, a must to visit while in the city !!
One of the most famous bridges in the world that still stands until today the same way since the day it was built!
It's overcrowded :( but still beautiful view of the bridge from outside
In order to connect Palazzo Vecchio with Palazzo Pitti, in 1565 G. Vasari build the famous Vasari Corridor above Ponte Vecchio. In 1966, the bridge withstood when the Arno once again burst its banks .
Very romantic walk in the city center. The most important bridge that connects the two sides of the city . Also, a place to buy a fancy golden ring :)
Very packed. The later you go, the better. Good view from piazza nazario sauro, and best gelato at la carraia! Fun fact: Hitler loved this bridge so much, he wouldn’t allow it to be destroyed.
Nice evening to chill and listen some street music played .. Ppl just sitting and listening..nice experience for late evening
A good and historical bridge with a nice view , also it is surrounded by jewelry shops and always crowded .
Its crowded and filled with luxury shops. The bridge is nice from the far but general if you are standing on it.
Awesome bridge . Handing shops from the bridge are a sight to behold. There are proper goldsmith shops on the bridge to buy jewellery from.
Busy and crowded with more jewelry shops than you can afford ????. Worth a stop for the history but try to resist the urge to buy a gelato here...save your €s for when you get back in town . ????????????
Loved this beautiful bridge especially during sunset ????
Oldest bridge in the city and the name ( ponte vecchio) means the old bridge , great view at sunset ????
Beautiful views of the river . Lots of foot traffic and stores selling mostly jewelry . A unique spot but wouldn't spend too much time here.
Excelent when the sun is rising (not too hot, neither too croudy). Also a good environment with street music groups (at least yesterday).
It's Amazing ???? U can find a Lot Jewelry Shop On the Bridge ! The View of River is so nice ????????????
Great bridge to take pictures, do people watching and shopping. The jewelry shops are mainly located on the brudge. Always crowded .
Very crowded , was difficult to see anything. I recommend standing on one of the other bridges so you can see the Ponte Vecchio rather than stand on the bridge itself.
This was my first visit to the Ponte Vecchio in 45 years. It has definitely lost its charm. Now filled with one high end jewelry store after another not local jewelers with loose stones to buy.
Stroll across this ancient bridge , where despite the tourist tack most of the shops that line the sides belong to proper goldsmiths who have plied their trade here since at least 1345.
Ponte Vecchio is a great place to take a walk during sunset , beautiful views ????!
A must see if you go to Florence! Nice place to take photos when the sun set
A bridge of wonders that you can actually walk through and admire the shops and houses built on top of it!
If you love jewelry , you must visit Ponte Vecchio! But shop around first to be sure you are getting a good deal . Cross over the bridge and visit Pitti Plaza for good restaurants .
This is the most attractive view on river Arno!all tourist should see this amazing fabulous view !you can feel yourself as a part of history!!!
One of the world's most famous bridges . Originally housed butchers but later ended up replaced by goldsmiths .
Lively place to visit full of upscale jewelry stores . Nice for a stroll across and back. Unless you have the money to buy that is! ????
I've always liked this place. Every time I'm in Florence, I would be running through the bridge and area~~~~ let's get lost
It's pretty to look at from afar and crossing the bridge packed with tourists and jewelry vendors is a nice quick event .
So many shops. Great views at sunset . Take a stroll and soak up Firenze.
Nice old bridge full with jewelry stores . Nice t is nice photograph spot.
The view of both sides of the bridge is worth it. You will find plenty of souvenir shops on the bridge
????????????the most beautiful city in Italy
Go before 5 if you want to shop but go during sunset if you want to see beauty and hear good music .
Very romantic place . Stores tents are also historical like the bridge itself. Sunsets are great!
The old meeting new, gold stores using still the same door systems. Awesome bridge✔️
Cosy by night, but very crowded at times! Great musical performances but they forbid taking pictures :-)
A place to enjoy the sunset including street music ????
