Don't use CAT, it's kinda rip off. Use a direkt Railjet (as fast as CAT) or the S-Bahn instead!

Get your CAT ticket while waiting for your bags. The CAT return plus 72h public transport for €33 is a good deal !

Check on the screens place at the "peak" of the conveyorbelt where you can find your luggage. The screens above each conveyorzone let's you know where the luggage is coming from.

Stand by the right-hand door of the belt. That’s the side from which the bags first emerge.

All old and not so fit people: Just take one of the benches on the side the others obviously could not see.

benches are opposite of the the baggage belts, not many but they are there
