Place is by Jackson Square so it's a tourist meal stop. U won't get fab food here, but its not bad. Service was good and friendly . I had a pretty good burger and my hubby had a good fried fish dish.
The wife got the shrimp po'boy and she really liked it. Plenty of shrimp and the bread was soft and fresh. She would eat this again.
Breakfast is good, just know everything is eggs . the beignet strips are very good, and lots of them for the price!
The muffuletta was delicious! Beautiful interiors with wide open doors, great service. Definitely worth a stop!
The seafood plate dishes are amazing. The beans and rice with the fried fish is great for an authentic experience of NOLA
Great value - huge portions at prices considerably lower than comparable restaurants - friendly staff , good drinks, food came out quick, & they take plastic
Great off bourbon food. The muffuletta is amazing, get one. Can't go wrong with the $1 house wine . Nothing special but it's cheap !
Everything, basically. Jambalaya , gumbo , even the simple but delicious red beans and rice .
Not sure where the negative comments come from. Veggie muffuletta was quite good and prices were very reasonable for a sit-down restaurant . Decent. Staff was very friendly
Awesome place, recommended by locals. Great taste/value for the money. Try the oyster po boy , seafood plate , red beans and rice . :)
$5 liters of wine , $1 glasses. I get the appetizer trifecta: jambalaya , gumbo , red beans n rice . $15 total.
Great food. Great prices. I always get the catfish sandwich . So good. The seafood platter is great as well . And a lot of food!
Their Jambalaya is awesome!
They have veggie muffalettas with melted Swiss cheese and their own olive tapenade ! $7
Sat at the bar . Bartenders were friendly . My mom loved her $1 Strawberry Daiquiri .
The Blackened Chicken and Creole Jambalaya is AMAZING!
$5 liters of wine and $8 chefs salad with grilled shrimp when you're on a budget ;)
The po-boys are huge and really good. I didn't really care for the fries .
Local fave. Always get their awesome muffeletta.
Poboys are great and big.
Delicious banana bread pudding with rum sauce. $4
Great find! One of thr few spots left with low prices... $1. Daquiries...but do the large for $3
Muffuletta is delicious but they have daiquiris on the menu but don't sell them anymore. Which isn't horrible except try try to upsell their expensive sangrias .
It was a muffa-effin-lotta crap. This place is a tourist trap. The jumbalaya was rice with tomato sauce on it and the "house salad " was brown iceberg lettuce with cheese and two cherry tomatoes .
Go for the dollar strawberry daiquiris and maybe stay for a drunk snack .
Alligator sausage sandwich was tasty.
That club sandwich ... Best ever! And dollar daiquiris !
Love the veggie muffaleta. Reasonable prices.
Try the Muffuletta...You won't be disappointed!
The french onion soup = amazing!
The food is so good and cheap here!
Red Beans and Rice #yes
Come see me behind the bar on Thursday's! Cold cheap abita on tap!
The jambalaya was very mediocre - not remarkable in any way. The catfish sandwich is like a big Filet-o-fish and the fries are totally frozen. I expected a bit more from this place.
Mufaletta (?) is great but be hungry. Also tried the Jambalaya . Good but not better than other places. Try something else first for adventure.
One of my favorite Po Boys in the city . Killer Roast Beef .
Stay away from Strawberry Daiquiris unless u like coconut ! They use coconut rum so it's not really strawberry but it is defiantly coconut ! Yuck!
Grear cajun jambalaya ! Try it, you won't regret it.
They accept all credit cards now!
They now take credit cards !
Now accepting credit cards!
Waited long time to get meals but French onion soup is good
Meh! Nothing special. Good in a pinch. But if you don't want to "waste a meal" while in New Orleans and on a culinary adventure then don't stop here.
Delicious as usual.
The French Onion Soup is to die for! The $1 Daquiri's are good too!
Reasonable prices!
Po boys for days!!
Used to be amazing. Avoid now. Far better food in the quarter.
This place is gawd awful. Food was bland & cold. Fish tasted like it was frozen, & sausage tasted odd. Not even the cheap scotch got rid of the gross taste in my mouth. As a tourist I expected better.
Sandwiches are excellent! Trust me the prices are good!
Get the jambalaya plate and the crawfish etouffee for four people... Perfect combo - Jason Vandehaar
Food was delicious. I recommend the Boudin. Sit on the balcony for an even better dining experience. Super relaxing experience. - Nick
The alligator app. is delicious! Pork chops cooked medium rare are to die for. - Emily Kuether
Try the Begniet and Cafe Au Lait - Crispy and fluffy and sweet! Coffee was super strong though! :p - Holly Norris
Try the Redfish Cake - A twist on the crab cake, you will want to sop up the sauce of this #seafood appetizer - David Berkowitz
Great atmosphere and drinks. Food was great, blackened drum(fish), red beans and rice. Would recommend to everyone to give it a try. - Robert Cottrell
