Great place for blowing the cobwebs out your ears! Lovely walk to the lighthouse and back towards Tynemouth priory. Keep a holding your hat, as a strong gust will have it away!

I love this beach. Its a fantastic place for an affordable family day out. Some very good local shops to get something to eat. Doesn't get too busy. A real hidden gem. - Ian Smith
