Wow! One of the coolest activities you can do is kayak this Bay at night to see the bioluminescent glow. Recommend: choosing a tour with clear bottom kayaks ...Amazing sight underneath as you paddle.

We visited with an Abe's tour group. The luminescence is fantastic, don't miss it if you're here on vacation. Try to go on the darkest night of your trip (farthest day from a full moon).

It was amazing how every movement in the water brings out the lights that you can't imagine.... I would love to go back when there is no moon and just stars looking down on you...

The lights aren't as bright as they used to be, but still an awesome experience to canoe under a sky full of stars in pitch black dark. Book w/concierge; definitely bring a towel.

Abe's took us on a great kayak , snorkel , dinner , mangrove and bioluminesent bay trip. Carlito was knowledgeable and totally funny! Yes the skeeters are crazy bad but totally worth it :) just do it!

Book a trip with Vieques Adventure Company - preferably the 9-11pm slot as it's less crowded on the bay . They have transparent kayaks and their tour staff is awesome to boot.

We did the pontoon boat tour and they would stomp on the boat to make the fish scatter which showed blue streaks all over. So amazing!

Black Beard Sports does a standup job for tours , leave phone behind and enjoy the bay in all its glory at night!

Abe's snorkeling is a good deal ($45 per person). Plus there seem to be less people in the later tour (9:00 pm)
