Love Gates BBQ , but this place needs a lot of improvement. Only one gal working the line . Taking orders, serving food & manning the cash register needs to be done by at least 2 or 3 people.

Loved the burnt end sandwich . Simple but delicious.

I love the pork sandwich . My husband loves the sausage .

What a nice parking attendant. He showed us a parking spot and then wanted a tip. But we only had 60 cents...

It is tradition to be greeted by a prompt, "Hi, May I help you?" Our tip: Don't be pressured; take your time and order what you want!

Interesting bathroom for a restaurant . So many Gates bathroom hookups!

This place burnt down earlier this year. Gotta try one of the other Gates locations.

Disappointed. Both the BBQ pork on sandwich & the fries were cold. Fries had been clearly sitting there for some time. The pork had good taste still, but bleh. Front counter people were mailing it in.

service is terrible and cooks are slow. People behind us got their burnt ends before we did because he forgot "heavy on the sauce". By far the worst Gates in the city . I'll go to Paseo from now on.

Rude staff , scream just to hear themselves yell. I think they're trying to be authentic but they're just rude and loud . One guest service lady nice but the obnoxious order takers need to go!

Order the choice meat on a bun with fries .

Extra hot sauce is best in KC.

Employees were rude and had major attitude problems. Food was cold right off the grill. Yuck!!!!
