Souk Wagif is a must visit place once in Qatar, a charming labyrinth of narrow streets and the only place where visitors can bargain and purchase an amazingly diverse range of products! 😊👍
It's the best traditional markets in Qatar not only in Qatar but in middle East, from any where in the world come here and enjoy the place it have all good foods and the people are so friendly .
To experience the authentic heritage of the Qatari culture, wander freely in the traditional alleyways of Souq Waqif that showcase exotic spices, local cuisine , Arabian dances and many more.
سوق جميل بس مايصلح في الصيف ابدااا / very nice place, but u need to visit it during the winter, its traditional shopping with deferent great restaurants . Worth a try
Beautiful & well organized place, takes you back to the past time. It would be better if they take away the Shisha from the main roads .
Very nice place to buy anything you want. Lots of restaurants and a big open space
Perfect for shopping and families at noon , most coffees working all night long 👌🏼
Very nice traditional market where you can spend a full day hanging around, buying traditional Qatari stuffs and off course eating delicious stuffs
One of must-visit traditional landmarks in Doha. Combinations of food, music , art , simple antiques and magnets. It's all an open area so surely it depends on whether.
Very few GCC countries have kept alive their old souks so vibrantly. I adored that you had all varieties, from one riyal coffee / maqha to 5-star restaurants and high-end boutique hotels .
There are shops for traditional dresses (abayas), shops for bukhoor, Qatari sweets shops, and herbal shops. It is one of the places I love in Qatar, and I recommend everyone to visit it.
I love everything about this place, esp in winter where the best sahlab is served❤️❤️
There was a woman cooking the best chapati I ever had. She was an expert. I hope she can expand her business one day 🙏❤️
Nice concept & one of the landmarks & must see in Doha. Full of nice cafe 's & restaurants . Good to explore... With many traditional shops 👍
Fantastic place full of people, restaurants and shops. Some restaurants close at midnight but the heart of Suk with most of cafes is open until 4am. A must see in Doha!
The Souk Waqif is a must see if you come to this undisclosed location. Al Bandar is a great group of restaurants and the Hookah is very good here.
Zaatar w zeit is good but they have always problems with the timing for the service. Recruit guys!! :) Damasca is good also. Souq Waqif is a place to visit for sure!!
Traditional Market of Doha, located at the old center, access from both Msheireb and Souq Waqif Metro stations .Options of restaurants , souvenirs shops, local handcrafts , jewelry , and general market .
Only place that you will find tourist and locals together. Original souq burned down 1970’s and current the rebuilt one. Market items are 90% cheap products from India and Middle East. Haggle down.
Here is a magnificent prospect I enjoyed, a little world of tranquil beauty I perceived and the traditional life of city I sought. It was really delightful to see that landscape.
A traditionally-styled marketplace , offering everything from spices to carpets to jewelry to kitchenware to clothing to pets ! The place for traditional purchases or a fantastic meal with shisha .
Such a neat and nice place to be actually called a souq. Try the boutique hotels in there. They have such good spa 's in there. Even they places to eat and smoke sisha are good.
My best place in Qatar , where is the old and new life meet
Restaurants with all types of cuisines, and concerts on most days of the week.. not to mention all shops with traditional crafts, and the fabulous Art Center.. Souq Wakif is a landmark in Doha.
The best traditional place in Doha to find middle east products. You can find gold, handcrafts , clothes , music , birds, food, refreshments, etc...
great for shisha and arabic food is delicious. The only negative. Made me feel sad and angry to see how they treated the animals, Apart from that you will enjoy the ambience of the busy souq.
Traditional style market . Very popular with locals, tourists and expats. Plenty of souvenirs to buy and many places to eat. Can get very busy in evenings but parking now better.
One of the most amazing places that i've ever been to in Doha. Truly incredible.
Amazing experience after newly introduced underground parking .. It is always great to see how past meets present in such amazing fashion .. It is most destination for tourists
First place to visit when you come to Doha. The most traditional spot you can find in the city . Many alleys to explore and many options for food or coffee with shisha !
A must visit landmark of Doha. The best time to visit this place is during the winter when the weather is fine. Enjoy!
It's better to park in the parking across the street and walk to the souq. The souq is nice, nice restaurants and cafés and nicer after sunset . Families kinda souq. Lovely.
Outdoor sheesha is a must try in winter. There is a secret Persian restaurant inside a narrow lane which is also a must try for authentic Persian cuisine.
Although it is an important attraction in Qatar, I personally think it is overrated. Do not plan more than a couple of hours visit. Check the artists isle in the back. Great talent!
You need to try this shisha we call it Gedoo they have Grape & Double Apple flavors 👍
The best place for sheesha in this freezing weather.... not only sheesha but real iranian-arab market know for its artistic old design, shopping, food etc..,
Not a bad try Qatar...at least unlike Soul Al Bahar and other places in Dubai...they kept their buildings and heritage infused in the souk...must visit when in Doha
Souq Waqif is a must visit in Qatar. This charming labyrinth of narrow streets is the only place where visitors can bargain and purchase a diverse range of products.
A great traditional place and market ! From the buildings to the shops are history! What's annoyed me the most is shisha everywhere!
Well organized traditional souq, you can almost find anything but it’s better to go there during winter.
A nice and clean market with a lot of shops, selling anything from curiosities to pets . Lovely cafes and restaurants too. Great for a stroll.
coffeeshops, cheap stuffs, traditional dress for arabic with a good price. best for spending time with family and friends for pastime at night.
I love it here. So many things to see and so many restaurants to dine in to. The place seems to take you back in time.
A modern remake of classical architecture for the region. A bustling market scape full of amazing restaurants and bric-à-brac shops
Awesome place, massive outdoor market with tons of little alleyways. Really awesome feel.
They have many shops and restaurant 💞. It is the best traditional place in Qatar🏺..
I like it .. I think to visit n summer not a good idea cause of the weather but the atmosphere was great sure I recommend 👌🏼
WHAT A BEAUTIFUL PLACE!! I've made it a goal to discover every restaurant and every corner of this amazing cultural haven of Qatar.
