庭園 は7代植治の長男小川白楊（はくよう）によって、大正14年（1925）に作庭されたもので、元々は総理大臣清浦奎吾（きようらけいご）の喜寿を記念して建てられた喜寿庵の庭園 であった。露出した岩盤 を利用して作庭されている。（市 指定名勝） それを取り込む形で昭和34年（1959）に村野藤吾（むらのとうご）が佳水園を設計し、醍醐三宝院の庭を模した中庭 が作られた。建物は村野藤吾らしい屋根の美しい数寄屋建築 。
일본 전통 다다미 객실과 별채, 폭포 , 신사등이 있는 정원 카스이엔. 지어진지 100년이 넘은 호텔답게 고풍스러움이 곳곳에.. 엘리베이터 7층에서 별관 연결이 가능하다. 카스이엔 객실의 경우 웨스틴이 인수 후에도 여전히 전체적인 리노베이션을 거치지 않아 겨울에는 춥고, 낡은 구석이 많지만 만실인 날이 많아 예약이 쉽지는 않다.
