The boat ride and walking around the island are exceptional experiences in the region. The island is a gem for photography . There may be some open art galleries according to the time of your travel.

Island has a cafe and toilet but bring Purell as there is no soap! Entrance fee is 8 euros and be sure to start your exploration to the left through the tunnel !

Next to the church of Agia Marina , there is a speed boat service (part of the hotel but they don't mind extra business) to Spinalonga . Best way to explore the island .

Impressive piece of both old and modern history. If you went to Gramvousa and liked it you will like Spinalonga even more, since the fortress is larger and not utterly obliterated.

A very interesting site...lots of history and an amazing walk. Very hot in the summer, so take lots of water !! Must visit.

Scenic views and interesting history

Place amazing, gives you the thrills.. Disappointed when I noticed that the owner doesnt have any mineral water in the fridge but hides it under the cashier promoting (?) the more expensive sparkling?

Worths a visit!

Don't ever climb up if u r not a fan! There's nothing and it kills for all day after. Views from the main road are enough.

The place gets locked 18:30h sharp, even two/three minutes before. Make sure to leave the gates on time. Excellent place to visit and it is nor only about leprose...

The tour takes almost 1 hour, you can even swim . You pay 8 euro for the boat and 2 for the entrance to the island

12€ le trajet aller/retour en bateau depuis Elounda. Très sympa. Le bar est impayable (15€ pour 2 boissons/1mars) la visite du fort est impressionnante (8€) à faire ????c ’est physique !

Очень красивое место! Обязательно одевайте удобную обувь, головной убор и берите с собой крем от солнца. Съездить туда-обратно самим всего 10 евро за человека. Путь 20 минут в одну сторону и час там.

Самый лучший пляж на Крите! Безумно красивый с чистейшей водой . Добираться не очень просто либо на машине, либо пешком, но это точно того стоит!!!

Очень красиво и интересно ! Караблики с Плаки уходят раз в полчаса билет 8 евро. За вход на Спиналонгу еще 2 евро. С Спиналонги корабли ходят тоже раз вполчаса можно не торопиться) нам понравилось!

Wer nicht wirklich an dem historischen Background von Spinalonga interessiert ist, sollte sich dieses Geld für die Tour lieber sparen. Zudem, es ist auf der Insel extrem windig und heiss.

Поехали с экскурсией , гид сказала, что с детьми ок, многие ездят и довольны. Короче, ребята, это провал. Дети одурели, сводили с ума всех, экскурсовод наш был так себе. Езжайте сами! Там интересно

Het 'lepra-eiland' Spinalonga. Vanuit Elounda of Agios Nikolaos kun je excursies maken naar het eiland. Ruines van het Fortezza Spinalonga (kasteel)

Просто доехать из порта Элунды за 10 евро туда обратно. Провели полтора часа, под конец делать было нечего. Лучше приезжать с первой лодкой в 10:30, позже начинается наплыв туристов .
