You can walk around the whole lake , we actually even crossed the sign which forbade the walk on the other side. If you have extra hour, visit also the small lake above Gosausee.
Very nice lake with mountain scenery. You can walk around (winter time is bit difficult) or you can walk up to other smaller lake (about 3 hours walking)
Marvelous mountain lakes . If you're only visiting bigger one, walk around it takes up to 1h & isn't challenging.
