Great place to find wildlife , rabbits are plenty more birds than anything else really. Be careful though. While mountain bike riding one year I saw a pack of coyoties, scary but beautiful @ same tym
Start at Alison Canyon Park and if you hike up the hill towards your left hand side cross Reseda Blvd and do Palisades Trail for a nice walk through the back of Porter Ranch.
This trail is great for photo walks. If you don't mind lugging your camera around, DO IT.
