Excellent wine and cheese bar inside. You can pick drinks you like and get cheese to match. An Ottowan chef we met on our travels says they also make an exquisite Martini .
The majestic castle in Quebec, be sure to visit the lobby and walk the promenade. Best views and photos can be taken in Rue Dalhousie near the battery. (Where I took the picture attached)
Sam's bistro is nicely renovated and offers great views of the river and the prices at least for lunch were not obscene which is always important. Other the hotel is very fairytale-like!
Such a beautiful place to visit even if you're not a guest of the hotel ! You must visit the bar , the drinks are expensive but well worth it!
Even if you're not staying the night it's worth a visit inside to the restaurants , bars , shops and to see the beautiful architecture and painted ceilings.
A beautiful hotel here in Quebec City . Make sure to walk around and also go into the hotel to visit the wonderful restaurant and bar they have there.
Opened in 1893 as part of the Canadian Pacific Railway's system of grand hotels , it was also intended to host attendees of the 1893 Chicago World's Fair but wasn't finished in time.
the hotel has an hour long tour for $16. Also available to non-guests. terrace off of the pool area has great views and was empty each time we went.
I knew this was the perfect hotel for me when I walked in a saw a beautiful dog in the lobby to welcome us! Saying hello to Daphnie, the canine ambassador, was a joy each day.
Iconic place to visit when in Quebec the view is just plain incredible !
If you go to Dufferin for breakfast , ask for mushroom omelette . Really really good.
Love this place, great service, drinks are fantastic, bar snack are yum. I could sit here all afternoon/night
A truly stunning classic hotel with an incredible view at the top of historic old Quebec
There's a great app you can download that will take you through the history of the Chateau. But download it at home before you come because the public wifi in the hotel is very slow.
Beautiful hotel !! I especially liked the pool, the fitness center , and the location. I would recommend staying in one of the renovated rooms .
The hotel is the prettiest ever, everybody takes pics of it. You'll have to spend a lot to stay here, but it's worth if you want some "madame" and "monsieur" attending. Recommended!
Ask for a high floor - city view - the 18th floor is amazing!
Amazing selection of Scotch at the lobby lounge . Enjoyed an 18yr old Mcallan while looking over the St. Lawrence. Just beautiful. You can feel the history here.
Honeymooned here. Highly recommend. Great rooms. Lots of history.
You need a hotel key to use the lobby restrooms . There are unlocked bathrooms when you Turn left as you go into the hotel then go up the stairs and to the left. (By the meeting rooms)
Very busy with tourists and guests coming and going, but so gorgeous it's worth it
Beautiful landmark of Quebec. If you need to use the restrooms , you need to swipe your room key. Or wait for someone to come out!
This is where the Korean drama, Goblin: The Great & Lonely Guardian was filmed !
Live your dream at the château. Amazing hotel , reasonably priced.
Iconic and huge! Great location in the Old area of Quebec.
The cable car ride up was worth every dime of the $3 fare
Worth a visit. Great view of the lake from the bar !
There is more history than sofistication at the restaurant . The food was just ok. But the building and the place are fantastic!
Currently (summer '13), the place ia in the middle of a renovation, I felt like I was staying at a best western.
Beautiful hotel . Excellent service . Loved it.
Visit the store “Lambert & Co.”... it’s beautiful!! ????????
You can sneak in to use their loos if you go in through the Starbucks
Its a beautiful historic building with a lovely view .
Location in Old Town , sights, restaurants all within walking distance.
The view was great, and everything was within walking distance.
The mixed nuts in the bar are AMAZING! I've spent hundreds of dollars here over the weekend just to eat the snacks .
Don't leave Quebec without visiting, at least for a cocktail .
While the hotel was nice I think a stay isn't worth it. Almost $500 a night for a nice but extremely tiny room with a king bed. Less than 2 ft between the bed and walls. Cheaper for better elsewhere.
Its a beautiful building with a great view .
Go on a guided tour . It's fun and the guides are awesome. Tours start every hour.
Resto Le Champlain has 10 windowside tables for two. very romantic and great view but reserve ahead of time.
