A historical grand hotel , definitely the best in Tampere. Rooms have a lot of personality, service is very friendly and the downstairs Italian restaurant is not too bad either. We will be back!

Always a pleasant stay. Friendly staff , nice rooms. Rebranding hasn't changed much. Only negative were the changes done to the Library Café downstairs. Was cozier before. Still 5/5 for me.

Exceptionally good hotel . Great service, classy building, excellent room, wonderful breakfast in a great location, central with an adjacent park .

Respecting it's history, a time trip way back. Not like average chain hotel . Good pillow selection in single room (my neck is happy) and a love lock. What's also good is that no sign of Onni Orava.

Ask for the Gagarin room, it has a sauna . Hotel welcomed me with a plate of fruits .

Spacious larger rooms available but pay attention as it least one of them had a TINY shower+WC.

Nice porch and bar with free wifi off of the reception area - it has comfy seats and nice decor.

Friendly helpful service . Room is just -- not my style -- "vintage" dark wood furniture . No wifi in room , but only in lobby, is a negative for the tech person.

If you're unsure if you can eat something at breakfast , there's a red binder in the room with all the ingredients to every food served.

Breakfast dining room is big and spacious !

Do not visit the bar terrace unless you want to be ripped off. Go instead to "Jack the Rooster" just across the street.
